Superpower: Providing a compassionate environment where people can relate to themselves in a more authentic and genuine way.

It is not uncommon that we want to make changes in our lives, but we continue to react to situations in ways that don't serve us. These reactions may quickly be followed by self-criticism, which can leave us feeling defeated and hopeless that things can get better.

Within therapy, I provide a compassionate space for clients to gain awareness into how they developed patterns of interacting with themselves and the world growing up and are unintentionally responding to present-moment situations based on past experiences. This insight can help people respond to situations, rather than react, so they can create the life they most desire.

I utilize a variety of modalities to assist people including Adlerian therapy, psychodynamic therapy, rational-emotive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

I completed my Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Atlantic University. I have experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents at the residential level of care who were struggling with substance use and mental health issues. Also, I have experience providing therapy in a college setting where I assisted in the development of a disordered eating and substance use group curriculum.

Prior to my experience in the mental health field, I competed nationally in Canada as a figure skater and was able to share my love of the sport with other young athletes as a figure skating coach. In my free time, you’ll find me at the dog-beach, reading a book, roller skating, and spending time with my loved ones.
