Superpower: Creating a safe and fun space for children to process their feelings and create better behaviors

Navigating life's challenges can be difficult, especially for children, who may find it overwhelming at times. My goal is to provide a safe, open space where children and families can feel heard, understood, and supported. As a child therapist, I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Play Therapy. Each child and family is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. I’ve had the privilege of working with children ages 2 to 17 from diverse backgrounds who have faced challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger management, adjustment disorders, attachment issues, trauma, and life transitions.

I believe that every child has the potential to grow, heal, and thrive, even in the face of adversity. My role is to help guide them, giving them the tools and coping strategies they need to manage their emotions and overcome obstacles. In the counseling setting, I focus on empowering both children and their families to foster healthy relationships and resilience. Together, we will work toward a brighter future, one step at a time. Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, listening to music, watching my favorite shows and movies, playing with my puppy, and spending time with family and friends.
