Superpowers - Helping clients reconnect with their inner strengths to face life’s challenges; Leaning into authenticity and values-based decision-making; Teaching evidence-based mindfulness techniques for on-demand support
I take a whole-person, strengths-based approach to therapy, paying attention to how thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, and life context shape mental health. I am interested in helping clients navigate life’s challenges, cultivate resilience, and move toward greater well-being.
My approach is grounded in curiosity and collaboration. I work from a dynamic framework, drawing from evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s needs. My therapeutic style is nonjudgmental, calm, and focused. I believe therapy can support meaningful change by honoring each person’s existing strengths. I value diversity and am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful space for all identities.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University under the supervision of Dr. Vassilia Binensztok. I also hold a graduate certificate in Topics of Human Health and Behavior from Harvard University, and I am a registered yoga and mindfulness teacher with specialized training in peak performance, brain injury recovery, and trauma-informed care.
In addition to my clinical training, I am a graduate research assistant at Rutgers University in the Sport, Wellness, and Mind Science Lab, where my research focuses on the intersection of mindfulness, concussion recovery, and multiculturalism.
Prior to my career transition into counseling, I spent twelve years working with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers in the treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Combined with my background in yoga and mindfulness, these experiences inform myintegrative view of mental health that emphasizes embodied and practical tools for on-demand support.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy surfing, hiking, and spending time with my loved ones.
